At home with the Horners: New Drive to Survive series shows Christian and Geri celebrating Christmas at home with their kids… as new season airs with Red Bull boss fighting allegations of ‘inappropriate behaviour’ made against him

  • Netflix’s new season of Drive to Survive shows Christian Horner at his home
  • An investigation is ongoing after he was accused of ‘inappropriate behaviour’
  • Horner has denied the accusations made against him by a Red Bull employee

Formula One fans get to see Christian Horner and former Spice Girl wife Geri Halliwell away from the race track as the Drive to Survive Netflix cameras went into their home.

Red Bull team principal Horner is currently being investigated after he was accused by a female colleague.

Horner denies the claims emphatically and Geri is standing by him as he fights for his reputation.

But while the six series of the Netflix show airs today with Horner mired in allegations of his conduct, fans can watch in episode two as Horner and his family look relaxed in December 2022 celebrating Christmas.

In one scene, Father Christmas headed to the Horners’ estate in Oxfordshire to see children Olivia and Monty and they were asked if dad ‘had been good this year’.

‘Let me think about that for a minute,’ Olivia said cheekily, before Geri interjected that he had ‘won a championship’ with Red Bull and had had a very good year.

Fans also get to see an intimate conversation where Horner is speaking to his wife about Daniel Ricciardo’s situation after the Australian driver failed to land a seat on the grid for 2023.

Another scene in episode two, entitled Fall From Grace, shows Horner hosting Red Bull Racing’s annual charity shoot, where drivers from Red Bull and AlphaTauri attended.

Horner headed into the 2023 season relaxed and refreshed but there are no such joys this time round as he fights to clear his name from allegations he categorically denies.

Red Bull’s parent energy drinks company are conducting an inquiry led by a KC into allegations levelled against Horner.

Mail Sport understands a determination may be made by the end of this week.

Pressure from a number of stakeholders within the sport – including Red Bull’s incoming engine backers Ford – is building to demand a quicker resolution than previously predicted.

Horner arrived at the Bahrain International circuit this week for F1 pre-season testing amid the investigation into alleged ‘inappropriate behaviour’.

Pictured in Bahrain on Wednesday morning alongside Red Bull’s chief technical officer Adrian Newey, he appears to be going about his business as normal with the pair preparing to test their team’s new car ahead of the 2024 season getting underway next week.

He was later seen speaking to Red Bull’s three-time world champion Max Verstappen, with the pair seemingly in high spirits as they smiled while chatting with one another.

It is understood that Geri is ‘devastated’ by the allegations, but is standing by Horner.

She unfollowed all of the Beckhams, including her former bandmate Victoria, last weekend, with the scandal involving her husband threatening to turn toxic.

A report in Holland last week revealed more details of the allegations made against Horner.

Red Bull’s future engine supplier Ford responded to the fresh claims by warning Horner that they expect ‘very high standards of behaviour and integrity’ from their associates.

Horner remains adamant that he is not guilty of any wrongdoing, and has insisted he wants to focus on the season ahead.
