Britain’s only rumpologist reveals how she can tell the detail of your character just by looking at your rear end – and guesses 2 out of 3 celebs correctly on This Morning

Britain’s only rumpologist appeared on This Morning today, describing the art of rumpology – or reading people’s bottoms.

Sam Amos joined hosts Josie Gibson and a slightly cynical Martin Lewis to analyse a clutch of derrieres, as well as see if she could guess who anyone was, simply by looking at their rear.

She explained that rumpology works much in the same way as palm reading – only, rather than looking at the various aspects of people’s hands, the rumpologist is looking at the details of their client’s bottom.

According to Sam, rumpology is an ancient practice, which was used by the Greeks to determine if someone would be a good soldier.

Looking at the hosts’ bottoms, she made some predictions about their personalities.

Describing Martin’ rear as ‘flat and square’, she said he was likely to be a ‘fun person to be around’.

Moving onto Josie, Sam described her as ‘intuitive, obviously fun to be around and…very sensitive as well’.

When asked exactly what she was looking for, Sam said: ‘The shape of the bottom [for example] if people have got high grooves, [or] the lines under their cheeks and on the superficial lines on the bottom.’

She noted that as a rumpologist, she ‘overlooks cellulite’.

Next, Sam moved onto looking at three mystery rumps sticking through holes in a sparkly wall.

Looking at the first rear, Sam noted it was ‘muscular’ and looked like it belonged to a ‘fun guy’ (though Martin questioned whether that was because the owner was wiggling the rear rather than because of its shape).

However, Sam correctly guessed that it was Chico’s rear.

Moving onto the second shapely bottom, Sam said: ‘This lady’s got a heart shaped bottom. She’s very much a perfectionist.

‘Also, I feel that very close to family. And I would say that she’s recently had some really good exciting news to do with family.’

While Sam was unable to guess the owner of the rear (Cheeky Girl Monica Irimia), Monica confirmed that all Sam’s predictions about her life were correct.

Describing the third mystery rump, Sam said: ‘Lovely…I would say basically [this lady] is very outgoing. But I also feel a very classy lady. And also I would say very into the arts, creative.’

She correctly guessed that the rear belonged to Lizzie Cundy. The celebrity agreed with Sam’s description of her.

She said: ‘I would say on the whole it was pretty accurate…it was actually really good. I’m very artistic. I love painting itself. So very good. I’m impressed.’
