Love Island All Stars FINAL: Molly Smith and Tom Clare are crowned WINNERS as she beats out ex Callum Jones – after insisting they wouldn’t rekindle their three-year romance

Molly Smith and Tom Clare have been crowned the winners of Love Island: All Stars.

The pair’s victory was revealed during Monday’s live final, with the blonde beauty beating out her ex Callum Jones and his new partner Jess Gale.

After being declared the winners, Tom told host Maya Jama ‘my mind’s blown’, while Molly was visibly shaking as she shouted ‘what the hell’.

Speaking ahead of the final result, Molly admitted the Love Island experience has ‘forced’ her to be friends with her ex Callum.

She also said she was ‘grateful’ they’ve had the chance to gain closure on things, but insisted that there would be no ‘fairytale ending’ for them both.

Talking about navigating romance within the villa with her ex there, Molly said: ‘I think obviously from the outside looking in, people won’t understand.

‘We’re in an intense environment and you’ve got to get along so it kind of forced us to be friends.

‘We probably wouldn’t be at this stage on the outside, it probably would have just been a bit awkward, but I feel like it’s got us to a place that we never would have gotten to, and I’m actually grateful for that.’

Discussing how viewers had been keen for them to rekindle their relationship, host Maya said she could ‘relate’ as people had been encouraging her to get back with her past partner, grime star Stormzy.

She said: ‘I did have a lot of people saying I should get back with my ex – sometimes its not what you’re ready for.’

Molly – who became emotional after being crowned as the winner – has admitted that she sees a long-term future with Tom.

She said: ‘It was all meant to be. I wouldn’t entertain it if I didn’t see this being something serious on the outside.’

Tom is also determined to continue their romance in the outside world.

He told Molly: ‘I genuinely see you being my girlfriend.’

After splitting in September 2020, Molly and Callum were stunned to be reunited in the All Stars villa in a launch night twist, but have both opted against exploring the prospect of rekindling their romance.

Viewers had hoped the couple would get back together having entered the villa last month after splitting following a three-and-a-half year relationship in September last year.

But the grand final saw Molly paired with Tom, while Callum was coupled up with Jess dashing any hopes of a last minute reunion.

It came after Sophie Piper and Josh Ritchie finished in third place, despite previously being deemed one of the bookies’ favourites to win.

During their interview with Maya, Josh shared that he full intends to ask Sophie to be his girlfriend, but insisted he wanted to introduce her to his family and friends first.

After the pair’s history came to light in the villa, they’ve slowly rekindled their romance, even stunning the other Islanders by re-exploring their connection.

Reflecting on the ‘crazy’ fall-out to the moment Toby chose to re-couple with her, Georgia said: ‘I think it was so shocked it took time for me to process the situation, I did not see that coming.’

Toby also confirmed that things with Georgia would not be made official until they have met each other’s families.

The result came as Georgia Harrison and Anton Danyluk finished in fifth place, after much of the villa began to doubt their romance.

While the islanders believed Anton’s affection was genuine, they were left questioning Georgia’s intentions after she initially blew hot and cold on whether she saw anything more than a friendship with the Scotsman

The pair also endured an awkward moment during their interview with Maya, as Georgia questioned Anton over branding her ‘heartbroken’ when she entered the villa

Attempting to justify their relationship, Georgia told host Maya Jama: ‘I just think when you’re in here things can be accelerated really quickly, and for me I’m not used to relationships moving that fast, it’s not a natural pace.

‘I think we got over it by just genuinely getting to know each other for longer, and since ten we’ve been getting on ridiculously well, and I just wished that had happened faster like it did for other couples.’

Anton added: ‘That was difficult I found that quite hard because I think people didn’t realise Georgia’s side of the story.

While speaking to host Maya Jama, Georgia H looked less than impressed with Anton as he revealed that she was ‘heartbroken’ when she originally entered the South Africa villa.

The pair discussed how it felt that their fellow Islanders believed their romantic connection is fake after Georgia previously said Anton gave her the ick.

She said: ‘I just think I’m not use to relationships moving that fast and then feelings just grew slowly and it took a while to progress.’

Anton added: ‘It was difficult because what I think people didn’t realise was that Georgia came in here heartbroken when she came in.’

Maya replied: ‘We didn’t actually know that…’

Looking rather furious by the comment, Georgia awkwardly shut down the comment: ‘I wasn’t like that, let’s not talk about it’.

Maya then went completely silent along with the rest of the audience and villa but it was not made clear who actually ‘broke’ Georgia’s heart.

The pair did go on to say they are going to try and ‘see each other’ back home as Anton ‘comes to London once a week to film a podcast’.

ITV2 viewers quickly to to X to criticise Georgia H once again as they claimed she was ‘faking their romance’ just to get to the final.

Elsewhere in Monday’s final two legendary stars have revealed that they have continued their romance since being dumped from the villa last month.

During the highly anticipated live ITV2 final Demi Jones and Luis Morrison looked cosier than ever as they held hands while speaking with host Maya Jama

The pair were coupled up together during the series and were the first to be dumped from the reality show.

Demi and Luis confirmed they have been spending quality time together as they revealed their relationship has been going from strength to strength.

Speaking during the final, Maya pointed out the pair looked cosy, Demi replied: ‘I know, well we are still seeing each other regardless on how long we were in the villa for.

‘It is nice we have spent a few weekends together and we are seeing how it goes and the romance is blossoming and we’ve been on a few dates. It’s been cute.

Molly and Tom only received one vote during Sunday night’s dumping, where axed contestants returned to the villa to decide who they wanted to boot out ahead of the final.

Arabella Chi and Adam Maxted lost their place in the competition and were joined by Maya, who consoled them amid the shock, during their exit interview.

After leaving the show, Adam said his best moments were wrestling in the Hideaway with Arabella and seeing her perform in her sexy lingerie during the Heart Rate challenge.

Georgia Harrison and Anton Danyluk were saved by the skin of their teeth after receiving five votes compared to Arabella and Adam’s six.

The couple received backlash in the villa from their co-stars who fail to believe their relationship will work outside of the show.
