Two male subway surfers are caught having SEX on top of moving NYC train while another films them

Two men were caught having sex on top of a moving 7 train in NYC train – the bare-bottom display becoming the latest shocking safety hazard by subway surfers.

While ‘subway surfing’ has been a common problem on New York City transit, two men took it to a new level around 1.20pm Friday when they were spotted having sex on top of the moving train.

Jonathan Eli took to X and posted pictures of the pair as they stood on the roof of the subway train as it crossed the raised tracks above the Van Wyck Expressway.

Eli, whose bio read ‘transit workers against corruption,’ captioned his cheeky post: ‘What is the MTA doing about this?’

In the photos, a third man can also be seen on top of the train as he watches the other men have sex. It is unclear the identities of the subway riders.

‘The only thing dumber than riding on top of a subway train is dropping pants in the process,’ Tim Minton, the MTA communications director, told The New York Post

‘Those reckless clowns aren’t thinking about the mess cleaners and other transit workers will have to deal with when their stupid stunt goes tragically wrong,’ Minton added.

In the first image, one man is seen with his pants down as his bare buttocks flashed onlookers.

With a dark hoodie on, the couple enjoys afternoon delight in front of cars riding under the elevated tracks.

In the second picture, the two men are seen facing each other as the one with his pants down stands tall and the other man seems to squat.

As they have sex, the third man is seen sitting on the other side of them as he watches the free show.

Under Eli’s post, the NYCT Subway account commented and asked for Eli to send them a direct message with further details about the romantic moment.

Baffled commenters shared their thoughts on the bizarre subway sex as one said: ‘New meaning for that song “The train kept rollin’ all night long”.’

Subway surfing has become a huge issue in the Big Apple as the MTA has tried to crack down on the dangerous trend.

Alam Reyes, 14, fell off of a Coney Island bound F Train in Brooklyn in January as he rode on top of the train and died at the scene.

His heartbroken half-brother revealed that the teenager followed multiple accounts that posted pictures and videos of subway surfing around the city.

‘Now that you go to his social media, you see who he’s following, who’s his friends,’ Diego Tinoco, told the Daily News.

‘You see the videos people post of subway surfing, you realize now it’s too late.’

‘He was a nice kid, he had a lot of friends, he just hung out in the wrong circle,’ Tinoco added.

He said his brother ditched class at Landmark High School in Chelsea and went subway surfing with a friend.

The friend continued on to the next stop after Reyes fell at the elevated Avenue N station in Midwood above McDonald Avenue.

People on McDonald Avenue saw blood in the street and then saw a sneaker fall from the tracks overhead, Ernesto Galindo, who works at Vinnie’s Pizza told the Daily News.

Jay Thirunarayanapuram, 15, was discovered on June 20 by the tracks near the Rhode Island Avenue station in Washington DC

Jevon Fraser, 14, also died subway surfing when he fell from a train in Queens in June

‘It was a red and white Nike,’ Galindo said.

‘Then the fire department, the cops, and the ambulance came. It was chaos. We were in shock. We are still in shock.’

Last year, four other teens including Jay Thirunarayanapuram, 15, died while surfing a subway.

Jay had been filming himself ‘subway surfing’ moments before he died.

In another of the recent tragedies, 14-year-old Jevon Fraser died after riding on top of a No. 7 train in Queens last June.

City officials have been battling the rise of the dangerous trend and last year, the MTA and the mayor’s office launched a campaign aimed at youths.

In 2022, the MTA reported 928 instances of people riding outside, on top of, or in between trains – compared to just 206 in 2021.

In the first six months of 2023, there were 450 reports of people who subway surfed throughout the city, according to MTA data.
